So, As most of you know..B and I love Chocolate! We decided to try out our baking skills Sunday to make our very own barefoot contessa chocolate cake we had received as an engagement gift! With the items we had already received from the shower, we had everything to pull it off. It was definitely a team effort! The cake turned out perfect especially with the chocolate butter cream frosting we put on to top it all off! It was very yummy!! Our bellies thank mama ruth for the great gift!

Bridal Shower!

Sunday was my first bridal shower...and man, let me tell ya..i got a lot of good stuff! I was so excited to open my gifts and see everyone! My mom's best friends put it together for me in Manhattan. I was so appreicative of everyone making it there and helping our registry get smaller! We drank champagne, (which I will never turn down!) ate some yummy food and talked wedding! I can't believe that the big day is less then 8 weeks away! Im getting more excited each day!

honeymoon! yeah baby!

Well B and I booked our honeymoon trip to playa del carmen! im soo excited! A full week to relax, (I'm sure we will visit the spa here and there!!) play a little golf, and do a little partying with the man I love the most!! We are staying at the Sun Palace..the views are absoultely gorgeous and has PERFECT written all over it! I can't wait to be Mrs. Abbott, laying in that lounge chair right there!!!

Little Apple Trip!

This weekend we headed down to manhappy ville to do more wedding details. We booked our ceremony music which will be a brass ensemble, they sounded great! We had a meeting with our pastor to go over the ceremony. Then, we booked our wedding cake designer, this has been Brian's favorite part by far! Any of you that know B, know that he wouldn't miss a chance to eat cake for the world! He definitely got his fill...eating his and also helping with mine! haha. Even though we weren't in manhattan very long and had lots to do, we did find time to relax and play with the muts. Lets just say they had a good weekend too..they haven't moved all day from their beds, typically sunday at the abbott household!
