Brian's Little Helper

One of Brian's favorite things to do is mow the lawn and one of Tatum's favorite things to do is help. Every time Bri mows the lawn Tatum CANNOT wait for him to get to the backyard so she can "help" him. It's the funniest thing I've ever seen. Tatum just walks behind Bri "helping" out as much as possible.

Even though most of the time Tatum is eating grass and throwing it up then Bri is yelling at Tatum to not eat the grass. It's rather hilarious! I think Tatum is trying to show Bri that he doesn't need a mower, he has Tatum to "cut" the grass aka eat it. It's the small things in life that make me giggle and smile. This is definitely one of them.

Stocking the Closet

I can't believe I'm already 7 months pregnant! Less than 12 weeks and our little boy will be here.. Yay! I hope it goes by fast! He's keeping me well aware of his presence with lots of kicks and movement... I love it! Over the past few weeks I've been stocking up the little boy's closet with cute outfits and shoes. I just love shopping for our little one! Here's a small sample of what I've found so far......

I think these little shoes are so adorable!!

This is the very first outfit I bought after we found out it was a boy!

Jessa's Shower

Saturday was a great day with friends and family to celebrate the upcoming arrival of Jessa's baby girl. Yummy food, great punch, laughs and lots of goodies for her baby! I can't wait to see her little one in some of the outfits she got. They were all so little and cute!
Of course I had to use my amazing cake lady (Helen) for Jessa's shower. As usual, she did not disappoint! It was the cutest cake ever.

I can't believe Jessa's due date is only 6 weeks away!!! Her pregnancy has gone by so fast for me, but I guess that's usually how pregnancies go except your own.. haha! It's been so fun and special to be pregnant at the same time as my sister. I can't wait to watch our little ones grow up together. Our parents are going to have their hands full and I'm sure will love every second of it! Love ya Jess! xoxo

Mother's Day

For some reason this Mother's Day is different for me this year, probably because I'm getting closer to experience motherhood for myself. It's not just about getting a card and gift for my mom, I'm seriously starting to think how in the heck my mom did such an amazing job in raising 2 daughters. As my belly gets bigger and August gets closer, I hope that I'm as successful in raising our baby boy and creating that same special bond that my mom has with me. How did my mom teach us be to so honest and stay away from all the harmful things in life?!? You hear about all the horrible incidents on the news with children and teenagers making bad decisions and I just thank my lucky stars that my mom taught me right from wrong.

As I was growing up and hanging with my friends, everyone always wanted to stay at my house because my mom was so "cool" (as they put it). What they didn't know was that my mom taught me to be honest and open with her about everything at a very early stage in my life. She trusted me. Which was something most of my friends did not share with their mom's. I love my mom so much and I'm forever grateful to her for raising such wonderful, honest, outgoing, hard working, trustworthy daughters. I'm so glad that my mom will only be 90 miles or a phone call away to ask for help and get advice day or night. I'm excited to experience motherhood for myself and raise our little one with the lessons my mom taught me.

Thanks Mom, you're the greatest! Jess and I love you!

Sister Time

On Saturday, my sister drove up from Manhappy and spent the night with me. It was so great to see her and spend time together with just the two of us. We decided to go see The Back-up Plan, since we knew there was no way our husbands would go with us. It actually was really cute. Perfect movie for pregnant sisters to see.

She also brought my birthday present! She got my diaper bag off my registry and it's so cute! I was so surprised to find out that she was the one who got it for me. I loved it online and I love it even more in person. I can't wait to fill it with diapers and bottles!

Once again, our sono tech was in a great mood and showed us our boy in 4D! I can't believe how much he's changed since our last ultrasound. Here are a couple pics..... (I apologize for the glare, I had to take a pic of the ultrasound picture)

I think he looks just like Bri in this one.....

But then I think he looks like me in this one....

I wonder who he'll look like?!? I guess in 3 months, we'll find out.
