Well, we finally made it to the 23rd! The weekend was a blast starting off with friends and family gathering at rock a belly deli, we had drinks, shots, and yummy sandwiches! It was a great way to kick off our wedding weekend. Following our long night at the deli, we had the Kassie B invitational! It was a scramble at Colbert Hills, with lots of laughs and drinks!
That night we had our rehearsal at the Abbotts house. It was a not your average rehearsal, but reflective of Brian and I. There was trap shooting...which everyone enjoyed. Especially my mother, who I never realized was such a good shot! We also had four wheelers, which was personally my favorite aspect. Everyone got to ride around on the Abbotts huge piece of land! To top the whole thing off, we had our very own personal cook..Mr Tom Abbott!!! Hats off to him and the amazing meat he cooked in the HUGE smoker!! It was so YUMMY!! We also had Coco Bolo's cater some side dishes. (which is Brian and I's favorite restaurant in Manhappy!!) It was so generous to let the Abbotts invade their house with our family and friends! We had an amazing time!
Saturday was the day!! I was a little worried when i woke up and saw that it was pouring rain! People kept saying that if it rains on your wedding day, its good luck! Well good news for us...cause it poured for hours! We have all the luck in the world...not that we needed it. My Aunt Mary Ann and Cousins, Jenni and Lindsay, held a bridal brunch for me at MCC. It was a wonderful way to kick off the day...nothing like a little food and champagne to get ya going!!
While the girls got pretty and ready..the boys got to hang out at the hotel bar and relax. They do have it so easy! Then came time to see my soon to be husband! The only part I was anxious about...but as soon as I saw Brian, everything was perfect and my nerves were gone. We had such a good time taking pictures with our family and spending time together before the ceremony.
After the ceremony, Brian and I took a golf cart to the country club. We thought it was very fitting, since my husband LOVES golf, and it gave us a few minutes to spend some alone time together. The reception was a blast! We had great food, amazing toasts, drinking, and lots of dancing! It was the perfect weekend! Thank you to everyone who made it so special for Brian and I. We love you all! WE ARE HITCHED!!! YAH!

Its the final countdown!!
Let me guess, your starting to think of the famous song by Europe? I do every single time Brian talks about being the final countdown. Well, we are in the final stretch! I can't believe that the 23rd is only 9 days away! Brian and I are ready to see all of our family and friends to celebrate our marriage. It seems like yesterday, we just got engaged.
Brian has been such a great trooper through all of the planning. So, thank you Brian! Thanks for being you. I never would have thought in a million years that i would be marrying someone who was basically right in front of me for most of my life. We have one of the greatest stories I have ever heard of. Thank goodness you decided to eat lunch at Henry's T's that day and thank goodness I just happen to be there.I'm looking forward to our wedding day, but more excited about sharing the rest of our lives together! Experiencing more great memories along the way. I'm so lucky to be marrying the most amazing man i have ever met! I LOVE YOU!

The Final Trip to Manhappy
This last weekend, Brian and I loaded up the hounds and headed to Manhappy for the last time before our wedding. It was crazy to think that the next time we will be in Manhattan is for the BIG DAY! The last few months have just flown by!! We meet with Dallas at MCC to go over final touches for the reception, I had my practice up do for the wedding, and the Abbott gang was working hard on getting their house ready for the rehearsal dinner on Friday! On this trip, there wasn't much time for R&R, which we usually are able to fit in, but I'm sure we will make up for loss relaxation in Playa! We are just trying to piece all the last puzzle parts together before the 23rd!
