I had my regular OB appt on Tuesday with a sono. It was so fun to watch our little guy move around and see how big he's gotten! I can't believe in 8 short weeks he will finally be here. I sure hope those 8 weeks are more like 6 though..haha! My doctor told me she wasn't going to let me go past my due date, so we will meet our little guy in 8 weeks at most! Our boy is 4 lbs already! I can't believe it. His head is measuring in the 97th percentile and 3 weeks ahead of schedule...can we say melon head and ouch!? But I like what Katie (my sister in law) says about it... more room for brains! Cooper (her son) was also born with a huge head but has grown into it perfectly! Who I think is rather smart and with it for being 2 yrs old! I like to think it's because of that big head (literally) he was born with and I'm hopeful our little guy follows in his cousin's footsteps! :)
I have finally hit the "nesting" stage. Bri likes to poke fun at me, but I rather enjoy it. I've washed all of this clothes and bedding and organized his room to have some sort of order to it. After 2 showers, his room was a disaster..filled with lots of wonderful gifts from friends and family.
We had our 3d sono about 3 weeks ago and got some pretty good shots of our boy! I'll post a few of the good ones a bit later.
I apologize for the lack of blogging but the month of June has been absolutely CRAZY for us! We've had something going on every weekend. Although it was nice because it made the month go by fast. Hopefully July will go by just as fast!

Baby Shower in Lawrence
Jenny threw me the most beautiful shower last night! I'm so thankful to have such an amazing friend. I got so many great gifts for our little guy! Not only did I receive baby clothes, but I also got some great gear as well. To my surprise, Jenny had everyone send in a picture of their kiddos with motherly advice or send in a picture of me with a memory. I was completely shocked and cried reading through it. I will forever cherish that book and can't wait to show our boy when he get's older.
Once again, our amazing cake lady came through and made the cutest cake I'd ever seen! I don't how she does it, but she shocks me with her talent every time I see one of her cakes.
Jenny had the cutest decorations for the shower. I loved the vintage trucks with flower arrangements in the back of them along with bath salt in little containers for people to take home. She just thinks of everything!
I was so pleased that my sister made it to Lawrence for the shower considering she's due in 3 weeks! I love being able to go through our pregnancies together! It's been such a special bond/experience for us. I can't wait to watch our little ones grow up together!
Thanks again to everyone for all the great gifts and helping celebrate our little guy! I already know he's going to love having such amazing women in his life.

Date Night
Last Friday, Brian and I grabbed some dinner and then decided to go play putt putt in Kansas City. It was so much fun. We love playing golf together but this is the next best thing since I've got a big belly in the way and can't swing a golf club. He gave me a stroke on every hole since he plays 3 times a week and I haven't for the past 7 1/2 months. I thought it was only fair! haha. Even though I hadn't played in forever I still managed to get a hole in one on a Par 4... I consider that to be a Christmas miracle! The look on Brian's face was priceless! I swear his jaw dropped to the ground. In the end I kicked his booty and now he owes me a hand and foot massage... even better! haha. I love date nights with the hubby, we always seem to have a good time.
